Finance & Loan Calculators
Money questions usually come down to one number you cannot work out in your head — what the monthly payment actually is, what the interest really costs over thirty years, or what a price looks like once VAT comes off.

About these calculators
These eight calculators cover the everyday cases: borrowing, saving, tax and splitting a bill. The mortgage and loan tools show the full repayment picture rather than a single figure, so you can see how much of each payment goes to interest instead of the balance. The compound interest calculator handles regular contributions, which is where most savings projections quietly go wrong.
Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored or sent anywhere — useful when the numbers involved are your actual salary or savings.

Five money formulas worth knowing
- Loan or mortgage payment — P × r(1 + r)n ÷ ((1 + r)n − 1), where r is the monthly rate and n the number of payments.
- Compound interest — A = P(1 + r/n)nt. The rule of 72 gives a quick doubling time: 72 ÷ rate.
- Inflation — future cost = today’s cost × (1 + inflation)years.
- PE ratio — share price ÷ earnings per share.
- Remove VAT — gross ÷ (1 + rate). Never just subtract the percentage.
Each calculator page walks through its formula with a worked example, so you can check the answer by hand.
